Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Lexidence handles your data. Lexidence is a personal dictionary app designed to help you save, organize and practice words and short phrases.

Developer

Lexidence is provided by Vasyl PD. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact the developer using the contact information provided in the app or on the Google Play listing.

Data stored locally

Lexidence stores your dictionary content locally on your device. This may include saved words, translations, notes, learning status, progress data, app settings and related local information needed for the app to work.

Dictionary content is not uploaded

Lexidence does not upload your saved words, translations, notes or learning progress to a Lexidence server. The app does not provide cloud sync, user accounts or online storage for your dictionary content.

Firebase Analytics

Lexidence uses Firebase Analytics to understand basic app usage and improve the app. Firebase Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as app interactions, app version, device information, analytics identifiers, and approximate location derived from the device’s IP address.

No dictionary content in analytics

Lexidence does not intentionally send the words, translations or notes that you enter in your dictionary to Firebase Analytics.

Language identification

Lexidence uses Google ML Kit Language Identification to identify the language of text for pronunciation. Language identification is performed on the device. Google ML Kit may collect technical information, app and device information, performance metrics, per-installation identifiers, and the identified language for diagnostics and usage analytics.

File export

Lexidence allows you to export your dictionary as a CSV file. Export occurs only when you choose to use this feature. The exported file is saved outside the app and may contain your saved words, translations, notes and learning information.

Exported file responsibility

After export, the CSV file is controlled by you. You are responsible for storing it safely and sharing it only with people, apps or services you trust.

No account required

Lexidence does not require you to create an account. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password to use the main dictionary features.

Third-party services

Lexidence uses third-party services provided by Google, including Firebase Analytics, Google ML Kit and Google Play services. These services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms. Data transmitted by Firebase and Google ML Kit is encrypted in transit.

Permissions and file access

If file access is required for export or related features, it is used only to create or save the file you choose. Lexidence does not use file access to read your personal files for unrelated purposes.

Data deletion

You can delete words from your dictionary inside the app. You can also remove app data by uninstalling Lexidence or clearing the app data from Android system settings. Exported CSV files are stored outside the app and must be deleted separately if you no longer need them.

Children

Lexidence is a general learning tool and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If the way Lexidence handles data changes, the Privacy Policy and Google Play Data Safety information should be updated accordingly.
